Western Star Resources Reports High-Grade Tungsten Assays Up to 4.02% WO3 at Nevada Portfolio

Western Star Resources Reports High-Grade Tungsten Assays Up to 4.02% WO3 at Nevada Portfolio

Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) (FRA: 42K) has released certified laboratory assay results from its inaugural programs at the Rowland Tungsten Property and adjoining White Star Tungsten Project in Elko County, Nevada. The results demonstrate high-grade tungsten mineralization across multiple zones, with peak rock-chip assays of 4.02% WO3 at Rowland Main and 3.00% WO3 at the White Star Batholith Mine.

Blake Morgan, CEO and President of Western Star, stated, "Receiving results of this tenor, that exceed twice the reported historical grades mark an exciting development at the Rowland and White Star Properties, and demonstrate the high-grade nature of the system in the district." The company plans to integrate these results with completed UAV magnetic geophysical surveys and pending soil geochemistry to advance drill target generation across the Jarbidge-Charleston tungsten footprint.

At the Rowland Property, sampling targeted three zones of historical workings: Northern Zone A, Northern Zone B, and Rowland Main. Rowland Main yielded 18 samples with results ranging from 0.01% to 4.02% WO3, including five samples above 1.0% WO3. Notable results include 4.02% WO3 (RO-16-01), 2.69% WO3 (RO-19-15), 2.56% WO3 (RO-19-10), 2.11% WO3 (RO-16-02), and 1.25% WO3 (RO-19-13). Coincident values of molybdenum (up to 110.5 ppm Mo), silver (up to 6.82 g/t Ag), copper (0.4% Cu), and manganese (2.57% Mn) were also reported, consistent with a scheelite-bearing tungsten skarn system.

Northern Zone A returned 0.23% WO3 from one sample, while Northern Zone B produced results from 0.35% to 1.22% WO3, with elevated silver (up to 10.85 g/t Ag) and molybdenum (up to 119.5 ppm Mo). At the White Star Project, two rock-chip samples were collected, with WS-16-02 returning 3.00% WO3 and 711 ppm Mo, consistent with historical production grades from the Batholith Mine.

The company emphasized that these results will be integrated with geophysical and geochemical data to support drill target generation. Further soil sampling is ongoing, and additional updates will be provided as results are received. The scientific and technical information has been reviewed by Jasper Mowatt, MIMMM and MAusIMM, a Qualified Person under NI 43-101.
