Western Star Resources Engages Dahrouge Geological Consulting to Advance Tungsten Assets

Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) (FRA: 4K2) has announced the engagement of Dahrouge Geological Consulting to assist in evaluating and planning future exploration of the company's past-producing tungsten assets across Nevada and New Mexico. The move marks a strategic step toward advancing the company's critical mineral projects in the United States.

Dahrouge, a North American mineral exploration consulting group with offices in Edmonton, Montreal, and Denver, will work closely with Western Star's existing geological team. The primary focus will be on the Past Producing Eagle Point Mine in New Mexico, where Dahrouge has begun reviewing and analyzing technical data to define drill targets across known surface mineralization. The collaboration aims to consolidate all available data into a well-developed technical presentation and model.

Blake Morgan, CEO of Western Star Resources, stated: “We are thrilled to have added Dahrouge to our existing geological team as we continue to advance our Past Producing Tungsten Assets in Nevada and New Mexico. Dahrouge has been reviewing and analyzing the technical data at the Past Producing Eagle Point Mine in New Mexico in order to define drill targets across the known surface mineralisation and to consolidate all the data into a well-developed technical presentation and model.”

The intermediate goal, according to Morgan, is to develop a comprehensive program to drill the historical noncompliant resource. Following an initial maiden drill program in 2026, the team will work toward a Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). The company plans to release further updates to the market regarding this progress as soon as possible.

Jacob Anderson, Certified Professional Geologist at Dahrouge Consulting, commented: “We are excited to work closely with the geological team at Western Star Resources in order to gain a better understanding of the geology and mineralization of Eagle Point Mine in New Mexico. Dahrouge will work aggressively to advance the understanding of Eagle Point's resource potential, while helping to de-risk and expand the Mineral Resource of the project.”

Western Star Resources is an emerging junior mineral exploration company focused on revitalizing North America's tungsten supply. The company is advancing its entry into the U.S. market through past-producing tungsten assets in historically important mining districts, positioning itself to participate in the growing need for secure domestic critical mineral supply. This engagement underscores the importance of tungsten as a critical mineral for national security and industrial applications, with the U.S. heavily reliant on imports. By advancing domestic projects, Western Star aims to reduce supply chain vulnerabilities and support the country's critical minerals strategy.
