Vme Kids Adds Teletubbies to Its Preschool Lineup, Strengthening Educational Programming for Hispanic Families

Vme Kids, the Spanish-language preschool network, has announced the addition of Teletubbies to its programming lineup, marking the first time the iconic children's franchise will air on the network. The announcement, made on June 15, 2026, includes both the original series that became a global cultural phenomenon and the newer animated production, Teletubbies Let’s Go. This move is part of Vme Kids' strategy to expand its offerings with content that supports early childhood development and resonates across generations.

Teletubbies, originally created to aid early development through color, repetition, music, and imaginative play, has maintained a strong emotional connection with parents and caregivers worldwide. Its inclusion on Vme Kids is expected to appeal to Hispanic families seeking safe, educational, and entertaining content that encourages early learning and family interaction. Doris Vogelmann, VP of Programming and Operations at Vme Kids, emphasized the significance of the addition, stating that it combines nostalgia for parents with discovery for young children.

The network, which is America's first 24-hour Spanish-language channel dedicated to educational preschool programming, aims to reinforce its position as a trusted destination for such content. By adding Teletubbies, Vme Kids continues its commitment to providing curriculum-based shows in a fun-learning environment, helping equip children with tools for a lifelong love of learning. The programming is designed to foster curiosity, language development, and early interaction in a safe, age-appropriate setting.

Teletubbies will air on Vme Kids Monday through Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and 8:15 a.m., available through Comcast Xfinity and U-verse. For more information, visit www.vmekids.com or follow Vme Kids on social media via Facebook and Twitter.
