Virtuix IPO Fuels Growth Plans for VR Treadmill Gaming System

Virtuix Inc. (NASDAQ: VTIX) is poised to accelerate its growth trajectory following its recent IPO, as CEO Jan Goetgeluk outlined plans to scale the company's virtual reality treadmill gaming system, Omni One. In an interview on Benzinga's All Access, Goetgeluk highlighted the company's 138% year-over-year revenue growth and the immersive, physically active gaming experience that has resonated with consumers.

“It's an exciting time for us,” Goetgeluk told Benzinga. “We reported 138% year-over-year growth. So we’re growing and we are ready to scale.” The Omni One system allows players to physically move through virtual worlds, providing a unique gaming experience that also promotes fitness. Goetgeluk noted that one customer lost 40 pounds in four months using the treadmill.

The IPO proceeds, along with an $11 million investment from Chicago Venture Partners and a $50 million equity line of credit, will fund growth initiatives and market expansion. Goetgeluk emphasized plans to enter the defense sector, leveraging the technology's potential for training simulations.

The full interview is available here. The announcement underscores Virtuix's ambition to capitalize on its momentum and broaden its reach beyond consumer gaming.
