Verizon has announced a major promotion for the upcoming NFL season, offering YouTube's NFL Sunday Ticket free with select mobile and home internet plans. The offer, available through September 2, provides customers with out-of-market Sunday afternoon regular season games, potentially saving up to $480. Eligible customers can obtain the subscription by purchasing a 5G phone and activating a new line on Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plans, switching an existing line to those plans, or switching home internet to Verizon's Fios or premium Home Internet options, including Frontier Fiber tiers.
Existing Verizon Home Internet customers and new or existing Simplicity customers can also get a standalone subscription to NFL Sunday Ticket for $234 or the bundle with NFL RedZone for $276. The promotion aims to enhance the fan experience as the NFL season kicks off, keeping customers connected whether they are at the stadium or watching from home.
In addition to the NFL Sunday Ticket offer, Verizon is introducing Verizon Shine, a weekly opportunity for customers to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences through the My Verizon app. Starting August 3, customers can enter to win a 5-day trip to the first NFL game in Paris, featuring the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New Orleans Saints. Verizon Shine is part of the new Verizon Loyalty Program, which also includes eliminating activation and upgrade fees and offering Verizon Dollars, where customers earn 3% cash back monthly.
This announcement underscores Verizon's strategy to leverage NFL content to attract and retain customers in a competitive telecommunications market. By bundling premium sports access with its services, Verizon aims to drive adoption of its higher-tier unlimited plans and home internet offerings. The loyalty program further incentivizes customer retention by providing ongoing rewards and exclusive experiences.
Customers can sign up for the NFL Sunday Ticket offer at verizon.com/nfl-sunday-ticket-on-youtube-streaming/ or visit a Verizon store. The promotion runs through September 2, just ahead of the regular season.
