VERAXA Biotech AG (NASDAQ: VRXA) today announced the appointment of Christoph Erkel, Ph.D., as Chief Scientific Officer, effective immediately. In this role, Erkel will lead the company's efforts to advance its proprietary BiTAC(R) platform technologies, which are designed to develop bispecific T cell engagers and other innovative antibody-based therapies targeting solid tumors. He succeeds Rick Austin, Ph.D., who will depart after a transition period.
