Venture X Franchise Owners Acquire Four Dallas-Fort Worth Locations, Expanding Flex Workspace Portfolio

Venture X, a global provider of flexible workspaces, announced that multi-unit franchise owners Kevin and Geidre Priddy of Priddy Spaces have acquired four existing flexible workspaces in the Dallas-Fort Worth market and are converting them to the Venture X brand. The acquisition expands the Priddys' portfolio to seven Venture X and one Office Evolution locations, with several more in development.

The four locations, previously branded as CityCentral, were acquired from Plano-based landlord Michael Comegys, who sought to partner with experienced flex workspace operators to manage the spaces. The conversions will bring Venture X's signature amenities and hospitality-centric member experience to tenants in downtown Fort Worth, Plano, and Addison.

The added locations include Venture X Downtown Fort Worth at 600 W. 6th St., Suite 400, Fort Worth, TX 76102 (22,530 square feet, 74 offices); Venture X Plano West at 6010 W. Spring Creek, Plano, TX 75024 (36,000 square feet, 103 offices); Venture X Plano East at 500 N. Central Expressway, Suite 500, Plano, TX 75074 (26,592 square feet, 92 offices); and Venture X Dallas-Addison at 17250 Dallas Parkway, Dallas, TX 75248 (approximately 40,000 square feet, 78 offices).

Kevin Priddy noted that the couple had been operating in Florida for nearly four years and wanted to enter high-growth markets like Dallas-Fort Worth. “With the evolution of hybrid work and corporate real estate strategy in recent years, flex office space is a true asset to commercial landlords,” he said. “Venture X as a brand already has a presence in DFW and we're excited to bring more solutions to the businesses and professionals that work here.”

Venture X is part of Vast Coworking Group, the largest privately owned franchisor of coworking spaces and second-largest network in North America by number of locations, with over 200 locations globally spanning 2.7 million square feet. Vast President Jason Anderson praised the Priddys’ disciplined growth and operational excellence, stating, “This continued expansion is not only a testament to their success as operators, but also to the strength and scalability of the Venture X brand.”

The acquisition highlights the increasing importance of flexible workspaces in commercial real estate as companies adapt to hybrid work models. By converting existing spaces rather than building new ones, the Priddys are able to quickly bring Venture X’s hospitality-driven model to new markets. The conversions are already underway, with some locations currently open and operating under the Venture X name.
