Trailbreaker Resources Prepares to Drill Three Targets and Provides Corporate Update

Trailbreaker Resources Ltd. (TBK.V) has announced plans to begin drilling on three priority targets during the 2026 exploration season, marking a significant step forward for the company. The primary focus will be on its 300 km² Atsutla Gold project in northwestern British Columbia, where initial drilling is planned for the Highlands high-grade gold vein target and the Swan copper-gold-silver porphyry target. Following that, the company will move to its Coho Cu-Au porphyry target in central BC. All three targets have never been drilled before and have been advanced to drill-ready status through extensive geological work.

Daithi Mac Gearailt, CEO of Trailbreaker, emphasized the importance of these activities, stating that 2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year for the company. The Highlands zone is described as a high-grade gold target with kilometric-scale mineralization, while the Swan zone represents a largely untested Cu-Au-Ag porphyry system with significant discovery potential. The Coho target, located 30 kilometers west of the Mt. Milligan mine, is road-accessible and has the potential to be a major catalyst. The company is well-funded following the completion of a $3.5 million flow-through financing, which was upsized due to strong demand, and has secured all necessary permits. Additionally, Charlie Greig has been appointed as Technical Advisor, bringing a proven discovery track record including involvement in the Saddle North deposit.

At the Atsutla Gold project, the Highlands zone covers a 2.0 km by 1.5 km area with quartz veins containing coarse visible gold assaying up to 630 g/t Au and 1,894 g/t Ag. The mineralization is part of a larger 5.0 km x 4.3 km system that includes the Christmas Creek and Snook zones. No drilling has ever been conducted in this area. The Swan zone, located 26 km east, is a porphyry target with a 1.5 km x 1.5 km multi-element soil geochemical anomaly, and rock grab samples grading up to 11.7 g/t Au, 212 g/t Ag, and 0.81% Cu. The anomaly is coincident with a 2.1 km x 1.4 km donut-shaped chargeability high and a magnetic low signature. Both zones are fully permitted, and a diamond drill program of 1,500 to 2,500 meters is expected to commence in late June 2026, contracted to Empire Drilling of Smithers, BC.

On the Coho property, the inaugural drill program will target the Coho zone, a Cu-Au porphyry target with a coincident chargeability and resistivity anomaly associated with high-grade gold and copper from surface samples. The program of 1,500 to 2,500 meters will start in September 2026, with permits already obtained and Dorado Drilling of Smithers, BC contracted. Trailbreaker also plans a surface exploration program in the western area of the property to follow up on results from Pacific Empire Minerals' Trident property, which returned 183.0 m of 0.77% Cu, 0.51 g/t Au, and 3.4 g/t Ag. This program will include prospecting, geological mapping, and a grid soil geochemical survey.
