SLR Group Reports 10% Sales Increase in FY25/26, Targets Higher Margins in FY26/27

SLR Group GmbH, a leading supplier of high-quality ductile iron components, has published its final, audited consolidated financial statements for fiscal year 25/26, revealing a significant increase in both sales volume and earnings. The company reported net sales of EUR 213.3 million, a 10% rise from EUR 194.0 million in the previous fiscal year. Total ductile iron components sold climbed to 107 kilotons, up from 95 kilotons in FY24/25. Adjusted EBITDA rose slightly to EUR 17.8 million, a 3% increase compared to EUR 17.3 million in the prior year, while the adjusted EBITDA margin reached 8.4%, down from 9.0% a year earlier. Unadjusted EBITDA also improved to EUR 15.9 million from EUR 15.6 million.

The results underscore SLR Group's ability to expand volumes in a challenging market environment, but the margin decline highlights ongoing cost pressures. The company's focus now shifts to optimizing production at its Elsterheide site, which is expected to become a key driver of margin improvement. CFO Gunnar Halden commented, "Our focus in the new fiscal year is clearly on the Elsterheide site. With targeted measures to optimize our production processes, we aim to increase operational efficiency there and adapt even better to the shifting product mix. Elsterheide will thus become a key driver in improving our margin as volumes rise."

For fiscal year 26/27, SLR Group forecasts total production and tons sold of 115 to 120 kilotons and net sales between EUR 235 million and EUR 245 million. Adjusted EBITDA is expected to reach EUR 20 million to EUR 22 million, assuming production volume at Elsterheide increases by at least 15% year-over-year. CEO Jörg Rumikewitz noted, "The start to the new fiscal year was still subdued. The measures we have initiated to optimize production processes are taking effect step by step - in line with our planning, we expect a significantly stronger second half of the fiscal year. Despite a persistently challenging agricultural market, and with construction expected to stabilize at the same time, we remain confident about the new fiscal year. We aim to consistently increase our output and further expand our business with key customers."

The company's performance matters because it demonstrates resilience in a sector tied to agricultural and construction equipment, where demand has been uneven. The projected growth in volumes and earnings signals confidence in operational improvements and customer relationships. For investors, the final audited annual report is available on the company's website at slr-gruppe.de/en/investor-relations. The original release can be viewed on www.newmediawire.com.

SLR Group, headquartered in St. Leon-Rot, Germany, operates four production facilities in Germany, Hungary, and the Czech Republic and employs more than 700 people. The company serves major OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in Europe and North America. Its EUR 75 million bond is listed on the Open Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stockholm. The FY25/26 results and FY26/27 guidance reflect a strategic emphasis on efficiency and profitability, positioning SLR Group to capitalize on stabilizing construction markets and to navigate persistent challenges in agriculture. As the company executes its optimization plans, its ability to translate volume growth into higher margins will be closely watched by investors and industry peers alike.
