The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will launch seven annual lifestyle and licensing mega events next week, running from 27 to 30 April at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and AsiaWorld-Expo. The events include the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, Home InStyle, Fashion InStyle, Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair, DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong, Hong Kong International Licensing Show, and the Asian Licensing Conference. These exhibitions aim to leverage Hong Kong’s connectivity between the Chinese mainland and international markets, reinforcing the city’s role as a regional creative hub and aligning with the national 15th Five-Year Plan and dual circulation development strategy.
HKTDC Deputy Executive Director Jenny Koo stated that the fairs facilitate trade exchanges and showcase Hong Kong’s strengths in new quality productive forces, product quality, and creativity. The events are expected to attract some 5,600 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions, including first-time participants from Finland, Germany, Iceland, the United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan. New pavilions include those from Xinjiang, Wuhan, Shanxi, Jilin, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Zhejiang, Fujian Quanzhou, Jiangsu Sheyang, India, and Indonesia, offering buyers diverse sourcing options.
In keeping with market developments, HKCEC Hall 5 has been transformed into a Reimagine themed floor, seamlessly connecting the Gifts & Premium Fair and Home InStyle to provide a one-stop overview of global lifestyle homeware and gifting trends. Highlights include the Gifts & Premium Fair’s new Selection of ASEAN and The Bespoke Hub, the Hong Kong Smart Design Global Awards, Home InStyle’s Cultural and Creative Avenue, and the Gerontech and Innovative Material Pavilion. The Hong Kong Smart Design Global Awards, renamed this year, will showcase finalist entries on-site, giving exhibitors direct access to international buyers.
The Cultural and Creative Avenue brings together over 110 exhibitors from more than 10 countries and regions, partnering with Pantone to use the 2026 Colour of the Year “Cloud Dancer” as its theme. Home InStyle will debut innovative materials applied to the homeware and home textiles market, with the Gerontech and Innovative Material Pavilion funded by the Innovation and Technology Commission. A thematic seminar co-organised with the Federation of Hong Kong Industries will explore the silver market, while the Business Environment Council will discuss sustainable home and gift design.
Fashion InStyle features multiple zones, including the highlighted NEXT@Fashion InStyle (NEXT) zone, sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA). This year, the Philippines is NEXT’s featured partner, with over 25 exhibitors showcasing local fashion materials. NEXT has brought together over 60 global exhibitors from Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Nordic countries such as Iceland, Finland, and Sweden. Han Chong, founder of Self-Portrait, returns as project ambassador, leading six local designer brands in cross-disciplinary design projects. The completed designs will be unveiled at the NEXT Fashion Parade on 28 April.
The Printing & Packaging Fair introduces smart packaging and innovative materials, with a focus on RFID and anti-counterfeiting technologies. The Green Printing & Packaging Solutions Zone returns to help buyers identify eco-friendly options. DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong focuses on premium packaging for high-end goods. Seminars will cover AI, sustainability, and creative design, with representatives from FUJIFILM and BW Design Centre sharing insights.
The 23rd Hong Kong International Licensing Show brings together over 600 brands and IPs, including Bandai Namco, Doraemon, and LINE FRIENDS. The Design Licensing and Business (DLAB) Support Scheme will showcase close to 40 local IPs at the DLAB Hong Kong Pavilion. For the first time, the show introduces an “IP and e-Commerce Support Services” Zone, aligning with the HKSAR Government’s policy to enhance cross-border e-commerce competitiveness. The concurrent Asian Licensing Conference, under the theme “Connecting Creativity, Unlocking Licensing Power,” will explore global licensing trends, emotional economy, sports licensing, and VTubers.
The events adopt the EXHIBITION+ hybrid format, with AI-driven business matching via Click2Match and Scan2Match. An on-site SmartBot service will help buyers search for products and exhibitors and generate personalized visit routes.
