Samsung's New Galaxy Z Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra Launch on Verizon with Simplicity Plan and Promotional Offers

Starting July 22, customers can preorder Samsung's newest foldable lineup, including the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, exclusively on Verizon's Simplicity Plan and My Biz Plan, the company announced in a press release. The devices are designed for high-performance productivity and seamless multitasking on immersive screens, catering to busy routines such as working on the go, streaming, or multitasking. The Galaxy Z Fold8 is priced at $1,899.99 and available in Lavender, Graphite, and Cream, while the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra starts at $2,099.99 in Violet Shadow, Graphite, and Cream.

Verizon's Simplicity Plan aims to remove plan complexity, offering zero network tiers and full device freedom. New customers switching to the Simplicity Plan can get the Galaxy Z Fold8 for $60 a month over 48 months, including the phone at $30 per month after a $460 promotional credit, with no trade-in required. To qualify, customers must open a new smartphone line, sign up for Auto Pay and paper-free billing, and switch their number from another carrier within 45 days. For the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, the same conditions apply, with a $420 promotional credit reducing the monthly device payment to $35.

Existing customers upgrading to an Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate plan can trade in an eligible phone for up to $1,100 off the new Galaxy Z Fold8 or Fold8 Ultra. The trade-in phone must be active on the Verizon account for at least 60 days before purchase. Additionally, Verizon is offering the Ultimate Bundle: customers who buy a new Samsung phone on a payment plan or bring their own Samsung phone with a new line can get a new Galaxy Watch9 and a Galaxy Tab S10 FE on us, with Verizon covering hardware costs through monthly promotional credits up to $650 per device over 36 months.

For those bringing their own Android phone, Verizon offers a Galaxy Watch9 on us or the rugged Galaxy Watch Ultra2 for as low as $8 a month. The Galaxy Watch9 is available in Graphite, Cream, and Silver starting at $429.99, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 starts at $699.99 in Titanium Gray and Titanium Silver. Accessories for the Galaxy Z series are also discounted up to 30% when bundled.

Verizon is also introducing a loyalty program that provides cash back in Verizon Dollars every month, along with daily surprises and the elimination of device upgrade and activation fees. All Verizon customers can enter weekly for a chance to win experiences through Verizon Shine. Additionally, customers purchasing a qualifying Galaxy Z Fold8 or Fold8 Ultra can get the Disney+, Hulu, & ESPN+ (With Ads) Perk for six months on us with Simplicity Plan or myPlan.

Preorders for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Watch9, and Watch Ultra2 begin on July 22 at Verizon stores, verizon.com, and the My Verizon app, with full retail availability on August 7.
