q.beyond AG has launched a new offering, 'AI Act as a Service', designed to help companies evaluate their AI systems and obtain an auditable assessment of their AI-related risks, including documentation and verification. The service aims to place AI applications on a safe regulatory footing, accelerating AI deployment and enabling productivity gains and value creation.
The EU AI Act, the world's first legal framework for artificial intelligence, is already in force and gradually taking binding effect. Key dates include August 2026 for most general requirements and December 2027 for high-risk AI systems. The regulation seeks to minimize risks to security, health, and basic rights while boosting innovation. Requirements depend on the potential risk posed by each AI application, not company size, and can vary widely across sectors.
q.beyond's service provides companies of all sizes with an overview of regulatory risks from AI systems they use or plan to use, including large language models and agents. The service can be booked online without prior integration, with monthly subscriptions for one or several accounts and a free version for basic assessments. Dr. Daniel Taradzic, Chief AI Officer at q.beyond, stated: 'Companies can start directly with AI Act as a Service and promptly obtain an auditable risk assessment. This enables companies to maximize productivity gains from AI while minimizing regulatory risks.'
The service has already attracted customers during its trial phase, including Antares Project GmbH, which had thousands of active AI users without EU AI Act assessment. Managing Director Ingo List noted: 'Thanks to AI Act as a Service, we no longer have this problem.'
q.beyond also advises on secure AI deployment, offers a 'Private Enterprise AI' platform for sensitive data, and develops AI agents for retail, manufacturing, logistics, banking, insurance, healthcare, energy, and public sector clients. Further information and booking options, including the free trial, are available at https://www.qbeyond.de/ki-services/ai-act-as-a-service.
