NeuroOne White Paper Highlights StereoCED Platform to Address Scalability of CNS Drug Delivery

NeuroOne Medical Technologies Corporation (Nasdaq: NMTC) released a white paper titled “StereoCED™ - A Scalable Platform for CNS Drug Delivery,” available on its website at nmtc1.com. The paper addresses growing demand for efficient brain drug delivery as cell and gene therapies and biologics advance. Convection-enhanced delivery (CED) can bypass the blood-brain barrier but current methods may hinder commercial scalability due to lengthy procedures.

The StereoCED platform leverages robotic stereotactic systems already common in neurosurgery, enabling simultaneous multi-trajectory drug delivery through a streamlined robotic workflow. This design aims to reduce procedure time from typical 8-12 hour infusions while supporting reproducible, scalable delivery. The platform remains under development and is not yet FDA-cleared.

Dave Rosa, NeuroOne’s President and CEO, stated, “Brain-delivered therapeutics are approaching an important inflection point. As these therapies move toward commercialization, certain intracranial infusion procedures lasting 8 to 12 hours may become a significant bottleneck to commercial adoption. We believe healthcare systems will need solutions that leverage established neurosurgical workflows, significantly reduce procedure time, and support scalable delivery across hospitals. StereoCED is being designed with those needs in mind, and we look forward to device availability for research and investigational clinical studies by fiscal year-end.”

NeuroOne markets four FDA-cleared product families: Evo Cortical Electrodes, Evo sEEG Electrodes, OneRF Ablation System for brain, and OneRF Trigeminal Nerve Ablation System. The company also pursues research in drug delivery, basivertebral nerve ablation, and spinal cord stimulation.
