MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF; FRANKFURT: 89N) announced that CEO Ran Narayanasamy will participate in strategic meetings and industry presentations in Japan this week, focusing on the company's Lawson Natural Hydrogen Discovery in Saskatchewan. The events highlight increasing international interest in the emerging Natural Hydrogen sector and MAX Power's position within it.
Narayanasamy is scheduled to deliver a featured presentation and join an expert panel discussion on May 28 at the Natural Hydrogen Expert Workshop hosted by JOGMEC at its Technology & Research Center in Chiba, Japan. The following day, he will present during the Natural Hydrogen session at the JPGU-AGU Joint Meeting, a leading international geoscience conference in Japan. These appearances underscore the significance of the Lawson discovery, which represents Canada's first-ever subsurface Natural Hydrogen system confirmed through deep drilling, with data validated by three independent laboratories.
The Lawson Discovery, located near Central Butte, Saskatchewan, is part of MAX Power's extensive land position across the province, covering approximately 1.3 million acres (521,000 hectares) of permits. These areas are considered prospective for large-volume accumulations of Natural Hydrogen, a potentially low-carbon energy source. The company's participation in Japan comes as global interest in natural hydrogen as a clean energy alternative grows, with countries like Japan actively exploring its potential.
In addition to the Japan events, MAX Power reported that investors exercised 3,529,496 warrants from April 1 through May 15, generating proceeds of $1,299,328.60. This financial activity reflects continued investor confidence in the company's exploration strategy.
MAX Power is an innovative mineral and energy exploration company focused on the shift to decarbonization. Beyond its hydrogen assets, the company holds a portfolio of properties in the United States and Canada targeting critical minerals, including the 2024 diamond drilling discovery at the Willcox Playa Lithium Project in southeast Arizona, which is 100% owned by MAX Power's U.S. subsidiary. The company emphasizes responsible exploration and development practices that prioritize environmental stewardship, community engagement, and strong corporate governance.
