MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF; FRANKFURT: 89N) has taken a significant step toward monetizing its proprietary artificial intelligence platform for natural hydrogen exploration by engaging Kyndryl to develop a comprehensive commercialization strategy. The announcement signals a strategic shift for the mineral and energy exploration company, which is now looking to leverage its technological assets beyond its own exploration programs.

Kyndryl Consult, the consulting arm of the global IT infrastructure services provider, will conduct a technology review, market and competitive analysis, and business model assessment for MAXX LEMI, the company’s Large Earth Model Integration platform. The approximately nine-week engagement is expected to culminate in strategic recommendations for potential commercialization pathways, including opportunities to position and scale the platform for future growth and market adoption.

MAXX LEMI integrates proprietary data from MAX Power’s natural hydrogen exploration programs, such as its ongoing commercial validation program at the Lawson Discovery in Saskatchewan, with extensive geological, geophysical, and other subsurface datasets. The platform was designed to identify and rank exploration targets across the company’s 2.5 million acres of permits in Saskatchewan. According to the company, this could create commercialization opportunities with natural hydrogen explorers globally and in adjacent subsurface applications.

The move matters because it represents a potential new business model for MAX Power. While the company continues to advance its own exploration assets, including Canada’s first-ever subsurface natural hydrogen system confirmed through deep drilling at Lawson Discovery, the commercialization of MAXX LEMI could open additional revenue streams by licensing the technology to other companies. This is particularly relevant as interest in natural hydrogen as a clean energy source grows worldwide.

MAX Power has built dominant district-scale land positions across Saskatchewan with approximately 1.3 million acres (521,000 hectares) of permits covering prime exploration ground prospective for large-volume accumulations of natural hydrogen. The company also holds a portfolio of properties in the United States and Canada focused on critical minerals, highlighted by a 2024 diamond drilling discovery at the Willcox Playa Lithium Project in southeast Arizona, 100%-owned by MAX Power’s U.S. subsidiary.

The engagement with Kyndryl underscores MAX Power’s commitment to innovation and responsible exploration.
