Mad Hatter's July 4th Waterfront Festival Returns to Vallejo for 12th Year

The Mad Hatter's July 4th Waterfront Festival will mark its 12th year on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the Barbara Kondylis Waterfront Park in Vallejo, California. The event, produced by Hyperion Community Partners LLC in partnership with the City of Vallejo, draws thousands of attendees with a full day of food, recreation, and entertainment, culminating in a family-friendly night market and a fireworks show celebrating the 250th anniversary of Independence Day.

The daytime festivities begin at daybreak and run through sundown, offering a variety of attractions along the waterfront overlooking Mare Island's historic shipyards. Activities include the popular Annual Maritime Dog Parade, interactive exhibits featuring the Wholly Wackers (sheep) and rescued reptiles, a Kids Zone, giant kites, classic car displays, cultural performances, and live music. Visitors can browse an array of peddlers and merchants, including makers, food trucks, and wellness vendors.

As evening falls, the event transitions into a night market with an international food court serving diverse cuisines, shopping opportunities, and live entertainment leading up to the Lighted Sky Show and Grand Finale fireworks display. The night market is designed to be family-friendly, offering a unique experience for all ages.

Hyperion Community Partners LLC also produces the Mad Hatter Holiday Festival, Parade & Tree Lighting on the first Saturday of December each year.
