The Lonza Board of Directors has announced the nomination of Stephen Fry as an Independent Member of the Board, subject to election at the company's Annual General Meeting in May 2026. If elected, Fry will also join the People and Governance Committee and the Audit and Compliance Committee, bringing extensive pharmaceutical industry experience and a global leadership perspective.
Fry spent over three decades at Eli Lilly and Company, where he held a variety of international, operational, and executive leadership roles. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for 12 years, leading large-scale organizational transformation and shaping high-performance cultures. His expertise in succession planning, people strategy development, and organizational governance is expected to complement the existing board capabilities.
