Roth Capital Partners reiterated its Buy rating and $14 price target for LiveOne (NASDAQ: LVO) following the company's newly announced collaboration with AT&T and Cisco. The partnership will integrate LiveOne's audio streaming services into AT&T's Connected Car ecosystem, marking what Roth describes as a significant addition to LiveOne's growing portfolio of business-to-business partnerships. Analyst Sean McGowan noted that LiveOne has spent over a year pursuing large-scale partnerships, and this deal with AT&T represents one of its most substantial achievements to date.
According to Roth, the opportunity may be larger than initially anticipated. While AT&T reports approximately 109 million wireless subscribers, the initial target market through Connected Car services is estimated at roughly 20 million vehicles. AT&T's connected vehicle base is reportedly around 32 million and expanding with 5G adoption. McGowan wrote that even modest subscriber conversion rates could generate meaningful incremental revenue for LiveOne, and the relationship could potentially extend beyond Connected Car users in the future.
The report also highlighted the possibility of management increasing guidance in the coming weeks, citing PodcastOne's fiscal 2027 revenue outlook and contributions from recently signed partnerships. Roth further indicated that LiveOne may be positioned to resume share repurchases, as the company still has more than $5 million remaining under its authorization. The firm believes that recent partnership activity may have temporarily limited buybacks due to material nonpublic information considerations, but with an improved balance sheet from debt conversions and warrant exercises, the company could restart repurchases.
Roth concluded by reiterating its Buy rating and $14 price target, reflecting confidence in LiveOne's growth trajectory. The full report is available at https://ibn.fm/Of91h.
