Keyrenter Property Management, a leading residential real estate franchisor, is experiencing a significant growth spurt this summer. The company has surpassed a major milestone by establishing its 100th location since franchising began in 2014. Since the start of 2026, Keyrenter has awarded 14 new territories, with five candidates preparing for Discovery Day sessions as early as next week. The new locations span Colorado, California, Texas, Florida, Virginia, Illinois, North Carolina, Michigan, and New Mexico.
This rapid expansion has prompted the appointment of franchise industry veteran Eric Steward as the new Vice-President of Onboarding. Steward, a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE), brings over a dozen years of experience in franchise recruiting, primarily with Pillar to Post, where he advanced from marketing coordinator to senior director of franchise recruiting.

Keyrenter Property Management was founded in 2007 in Midvale, Utah, and began franchising in 2014. The network now comprises 94 franchisee partners representing 101 locations. Franchisees provide a wide range of residential property management services, including rent collection, repair, routine maintenance, and securing tenants for vacant homes.
The residential real estate industry continues to thrive due to highly favorable marketplace conditions. There are approximately 25 million single-family rental (SFR) units in the U.S., with only 4% institutionally owned.
