Kaufman & Company, a permanent capital holding company led by Daniel Kaufman, has officially launched its integrated platform with the debut of its new website, thekaufmanco.com. The move culminates a year-long effort to consolidate ten operating companies, a seven-company venture portfolio under Kaufman Ventures, and a network of affiliated partnerships into a single structure spanning residential development, workforce housing, AI infrastructure, and venture capital.
“Our 2026 launch slate marks the full convergence of real estate and technology,” said Daniel Kaufman, Founder and Principal of Kaufman & Company. “We’ve spent the last year bringing every company we’ve built or backed under one platform so they can share capital, data, and execution discipline instead of operating in silos. This is the structure the work has been building toward.”
The new platform organizes Kaufman & Company’s operating businesses into a single structure for the first time, with a shared philosophy of strategic site selection, integrated design and construction execution, and underwriting discipline carried from acquisition through stabilization. The ten operating companies include Convivium Living, DanReDev, DEK Builds, Design Build Affordable, DK Homes, Forge Development Partners, Kaufman Development, Kaufman Real Estate & Consulting, LoneStar Kaufman, and Kaufman Ventures. Collectively, the platform reports more than $2 billion in project value delivered, more than 10,000 housing units developed, and more than 25 years of experience.
The launch also formally introduces Kaufman Ventures, the platform’s venture investment arm, and its portfolio of seven technology companies built to serve the real estate industry, starting with Kaufman & Company’s own operating businesses. The portfolio includes BridgeStar, Meridian, LandBriefing, SpreadSight, FoundCheck, and ServerDomes. Kaufman & Company describes the venture strategy as building tools its own operating companies rely on first, then bringing them to the broader real estate industry.
The unified platform reflects a year of consolidation work: integrating financial reporting, shared services, and go-to-market strategy across companies that had previously operated with varying degrees of independence, while preserving the operating identity and leadership of each business. The new website also introduces a public-facing partner portal at BridgeStar.ai, giving borrowers, investors, and partners direct access to deal information across the platform, along with Media & Press and U.S. Real Estate Journal sections consolidating Kaufman & Company’s growing footprint in national trade and business press.
“Every company on this platform still runs the way it always has, with its own team and its own market focus,” Kaufman added. “What changes is that we can now move capital, share underwriting discipline, and put technology like BridgeStar and Meridian to work across all of them at once. That is what this launch represents.”
Kaufman & Company’s move to unify its diverse holdings under a single platform is significant for the real estate and technology sectors, as it demonstrates a strategic integration of operational expertise and venture-backed innovation. This could set a precedent for other holding companies seeking to leverage synergies across their portfolios, potentially leading to more efficient capital deployment and accelerated adoption of technology in real estate development and management.
