Ideal Group of Companies, Inc. (OTC: IDGR) announced the completion of its acquisition of the El Quizer Mining Administrative Contract, a fully permitted 675-hectare gold concession in Bolivia's Precambrian Shield, establishing the company as an emerging participant in the global precious metals sector. The transaction comes at a time when gold and platinum group metals (PGMs) are increasingly critical to technology industries such as artificial intelligence, electric mobility, and defense.
The El Quizer contract, issued by Bolivia's Autoridad Jurisdiccional Administrativa Minera (AJAM), grants full mining rights for a 30-year term renewable for an additional 30 years. The concession is located in the Nuflo de Chavez Province, Santa Cruz Department, approximately 185 kilometers by paved highway from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, followed by 11 kilometers of gravel road. All permits, environmental licenses, and mining registrations are current.
Independent analysis identified primary oxide stockpiles of approximately 8 million metric tonnes at an average grade of 1.0 g/t gold, representing an estimated 210,000 ounces of contained gold, with a near-term production potential at 2,000 tonnes per day over an estimated 12-year mine life. Sulfide stockpiles of 2 million metric tonnes at 0.7 g/t gold also contain potential for PGMs and base metals. Virgin primary formations are estimated at 10 million metric tonnes at 2.5 g/t gold, pending drilling. A newly discovered vein system measuring 4 meters wide across a 2-kilometer strike length returned assay values of 4.98 and 8.61 g/t gold.
Preliminary XRF and cupellation analyses indicate the presence of palladium, iridium, and rhodium within the concession boundary, consistent with regional PGM occurrences documented by the British Geological Survey. The company views this as materially enhancing long-term resource potential.
The acquisition aligns with growing demand for precious metals driven by AI infrastructure, central bank purchases, and clean energy technologies. Gold is essential in semiconductor packaging and high-frequency connectors, while PGMs are critical for hydrogen fuel cells and emissions-control systems. Global gold demand reached 4,740 tonnes in 2022, the highest since 2011, according to the World Gold Council. AI data center capital expenditure is projected to exceed $1 trillion over five years, further boosting demand.
Ideal Group is committed to responsible mining, with MetalPro SRL, the Bolivian operating entity, implementing a green mining framework that eliminates mercury and cyanide, uses closed-loop water recycling, renewable energy, and prohibits indiscriminate deforestation. Active community engagement is also planned.
“The El Quizer acquisition puts us in the right place at the right time,” said Charles Cardona, CEO. “We hold a permitted, legally contracted, geologically compelling gold asset in a jurisdiction actively seeking responsible foreign investment - at the precise moment when the metals this property contains have become indispensable to AI infrastructure, clean energy, and advanced manufacturing.”
