The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), in collaboration with Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), is leading a delegation of 21 Hong Kong tech companies and institutions to showcase at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 and debut at 4 Years From Now (4YFN) 2026, taking place concurrently from 2-5 March in Barcelona, Spain. This dual presence aims to highlight Hong Kong's innovation and technology (I&T) capabilities and facilitate market expansion.
Building on the momentum from MWC 2025, the delegation will feature solutions across Connectivity, Devices and Systems, Digital Transformation, and Ecosystem Partners. The pavilion is designed to give a comprehensive picture of Hong Kong’s I&T strengths, bridging research and development into real-world applications. Iris Wong, Director of Merchandise Trade and Innovation at HKTDC, stated, “The Hong Kong Tech Pavilion is an ideal platform for Hong Kong tech enterprises to present their latest R&D achievements at major international tech gatherings, support their journey to explore overseas markets, while highlighting Hong Kong’s strengths as an international innovation and technology hub.”
Derek Chim, Head of Startup Ecosystem and Development at HKSTP, added, “MWC is a global bellwether for communications technology and tech companies at any stage, to connect with the industry and investors, to have a solid ground that validate solutions, catalyse pilot projects, accelerate commercialisation, and scale internationally.” The delegation includes companies like Shannon & Turing (Asmote), specializing in mmWave technology for Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), and Cresento, which developed an AI-powered shin guard for real-time sports performance insights. These companies exemplify the market-ready solutions with high potential for expansion.
A series of dialogues, networking receptions, themed talks, and pitching sessions will take place at the pavilion to facilitate partnerships and investment opportunities. The HKTDC continues to join hands with HKSTP to support Hong Kong tech enterprises to “go global,” expediting internationalization and consolidating Hong Kong’s position as an international I&T hub.
The Hong Kong Tech Pavilion will be located at Booth 6E44 in Hall 6 for MWC and Booth 8.1B31 in Hall 8.1 for 4YFN. For more information on the Hong Kong Tech Pavilion and exhibitors, visit https://bit.ly/MWC2026HKTech.
