The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) today officially opened its seven flagship lifestyle and licensing events, including the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, Home InStyle, Fashion InStyle, Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair, DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong, Hong Kong International Licensing Show, and Asian Licensing Conference. Together, the six trade fairs have attracted some 5,600 exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions, underscoring Hong Kong's position as a key gateway for global businesses connecting with the Chinese mainland.
HKTDC Executive Director Sophia Chong emphasized Hong Kong's role as a super connector and super value-adder, backed by its solid strengths, well-developed innovation ecosystem, and robust intellectual property infrastructure. “Hong Kong is the ideal base for companies to grow their businesses, pursue creativity and innovation, and bring them to commercial fruition,” she said.
The Gifts & Premium Fair and Home InStyle offer buyers a diverse range of products spanning cultural creativity, sustainability, innovative materials, and gerontechnology. Selected highlights are brought together on the new “Reimagine” themed floor at HKCEC Hall 5, providing a one-stop overview of the latest global trends. Exhibitors include Wei Yit Vacuum Flask Manufactory, debuting the Camel Brand MINI20 thermos blind box, and PREN Ltd, introducing an infection-prevention mobile toilet with health monitoring capabilities.
Fashion InStyle showcases global innovation in fashion materials through the NEXT zone, featuring over 60 exhibitors from around the world. Highlights include Belgium's Bloom Biotech showcasing microalgae leather, Finland's Spinnova PLC presenting next-generation textile fibre, and Vietnam's Thai Son S.P Co., Ltd. offering ramie fabric. The zone also features cross-disciplinary collections created by six local designer brands under the guidance of Han Chong, founder of self-portrait.
The Hong Kong International Licensing Show introduces for the first time an IP and e-Commerce Support Services zone, uniting e-commerce platforms, KOLs, and marketing firms to help brands capitalize on e-commerce growth. The fair features over 330 exhibitors showcasing more than 600 brands and IP projects, including popular characters like Potatoz, LuLu the Piggy, and Café de Bollo.
The concurrent Asian Licensing Conference invites industry leaders to discuss key market developments, with speakers including Maura Regan of Licensing International and Alessandro Villa of FIFA. The Printing & Packaging Fair and DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong highlight eco-friendly and premium solutions, such as FSC transparent non-plastic packaging and 3D rotating music boxes.
Throughout the fairs, around 60 thematic seminars, buyer forums, and product presentations cover trending topics like the silver economy, sustainability, and generative AI, providing industry professionals with the latest market insights and practical strategies.
