Golden Cariboo Announces Upcoming Inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate for Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. (CSE:GCC) (OTC:GCCFF) (WKN:A402CQ) (FSE:3TZ) is nearing completion of its inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property, located approximately 4 kilometers northeast of Hixon, British Columbia. The company announced that independent consultants are in the final stages of preparing the MRE, which will provide the first formal quantification of gold mineralization outlined through its drilling, exploration, and geological modeling programs to date, including historical exploration data.

The MRE is a critical step for Golden Cariboo as it transitions from exploration to a more defined understanding of the project's potential. The company anticipates releasing the completed MRE upon receipt of its independent NI 43-101 technical report. This report will be a cornerstone for future development decisions and will offer stakeholders a comprehensive technical snapshot of the project.

Frank Callaghan, President and CEO of Golden Cariboo, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming milestone. “This is an exciting time for Golden Cariboo, our shareholders and the region. Every drill hole, every assay result and every geological breakthrough has expanded our understanding of the Halo, North Hixon and Main zones. We are now approaching the point where all of that work will be consolidated into a single independent resource model, providing the first comprehensive technical snapshot of the project and our first step towards the next phase of development.”

The Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property is strategically located adjacent to Osisko Development's Cariboo Gold Project and lies along a favorable corridor near the Spanish and Eureka thrust faults. The property spans 94,899 hectares and is historically significant, with over 101 placer gold creeks along the 90-kilometer trend from the Cariboo Hudson mine to the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property having recorded production.

The property includes the Quesnelle Quartz gold-silver deposit, discovered in 1865, which has been developed over a footprint of about 150 meters by 150 meters at the Main zone. The geological setting of the gold mineralization shows strong similarities to the Spanish Mountain gold deposit, located 120 kilometers southeast along the same trend. Spanish Mountain is a sediment-hosted vein (SHV) deposit belonging to the epizonal orogenic subclass, which includes some of the world’s largest gold deposits such as Muruntau in Uzbekistan and Bendigo in Australia.

The upcoming MRE will not only quantify the gold resources but also validate the exploration efforts and provide a basis for assessing the project's economic viability. It marks a significant step toward advancing the property towards potential development, which could have positive implications for the company and the regional mining sector.

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. is focused on rediscovering the Cariboo Gold Rush through targeted drilling and trenching programs. The company's commitment to systematic exploration has led to this pivotal moment, and the completion of the MRE will be a key catalyst for future growth.
