Generation Uranium Integrates MMT Survey to Refine Historic Targets, Evaluates AI for Exploration

Generation Uranium Inc. (TSXV: GEN, OTCQB: GENRF, FRA: W85) is advancing its 2026 exploration planning for the Yath Project in Nunavut's Angilak district. The company is integrating results from a 2024 Mobile Magnetotellurics (MMT) survey with historic data to refine drill targets and is evaluating artificial intelligence as a tool for target ranking and optimization.

The MMT survey, conducted by Expert Geophysics, covered approximately 810 line kilometers over 120 km² of the property. MMT surveys are designed to identify graphitic conductor fault zones, hydrothermal alteration halos, and deep structural controls—key elements for unconformity-style uranium deposits. By combining conductive and resistive MMT corridors with historic mapping and sampling, Generation has significantly narrowed target footprints from hundreds of meters to tens of meters, improving understanding of structural orientations beneath overburden.

Key targets such as BOG, VGR, Embryo, FOX, and Lucky Break have been reoriented based on the MMT data, revealing trends oblique to earlier interpretations. The company continues to integrate the dataset with historic results, including surface samples grading up to 9.8% U3O8 at Embryo and 1.0 meter at 0.224% U3O8 from 25.5 meters in drillhole BOG-8-80. This work is advancing the definition and prioritization of drill-ready targets.

Generation is also engaging multiple AI-driven geological service providers to evaluate the best approach for advanced target analysis. CEO Michael Collins noted, “The MMT data represents a major leap forward for buried uranium targeting. This exploration concept has already been validated by Atha Energy’s five new discoveries in 2025 on their Angilak Project to the south.” He added that the company aims to shorten the discovery cycle at Yath while maximizing exploration dollars and drilling effectiveness.

The uranium market in 2026 continues to strengthen, with spot prices surpassing US$100/lb amid a structural supply deficit and growing demand from AI-powered data centers and nuclear capacity expansion in China, India, and the U.S. A comprehensive sector report by Shaw and Partners forecasts a potential multi-year price spike toward US$200/lb, driven by tightening fuel contracting cycles and persistent supply shortfalls. Global nuclear capacity currently consumes about 180 million pounds of U3O8 annually, while mine production delivers only about 150 million pounds, highlighting the need for new discoveries.
