GEA Reports Profitable Growth in 2025, Achieves Climate Targets Ahead of Schedule and Expects Accelerated Revenue Growth in 2026

In fiscal year 2025, GEA reported substantial growth across key financial metrics, with order intake rising 6.7% to EUR 5.9 billion and organic revenue growth of 3.7%, at the upper end of its guidance range. The technology company also improved its EBITDA margin before restructuring expenses to 16.5%, up from 15.4% in 2024, driven by strong performance across all divisions and a 40% share of high-margin service revenue. GEA met its interim climate targets ahead of schedule, reducing Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 62% compared to 2019, surpassing its 2026 goal of 60% reduction.

CEO Stefan Klebert highlighted the company's achievements in a challenging economic environment, including entry into the German DAX index and securing one of the largest contracts in GEA's history for a milk powder plant in Algeria. The company streamlined its organizational structure into four divisions to enhance flexibility and speed, effective from Q1 2026. GEA also made progress on its Mission 30 growth drivers, with sustainable technologies accounting for over 45% of revenue, digital solutions revenue reaching EUR 80 million, and new food businesses generating EUR 70 million.

Financially, GEA strengthened its balance sheet with net working capital improving to 3.2% of revenue, free cash flow of EUR 511.8 million, and net cash up 10% to EUR 378.9 million. The company proposed a dividend increase to EUR 1.30 per share from EUR 1.15. For fiscal 2026, GEA expects organic revenue growth of 5.0% to 7.0% and further margin improvement, with EBITDA margin before restructuring expenses guided between 16.6% and 17.2%. The strong order backlog and global demand for sustainable solutions underpin this outlook.

GEA's commitment to sustainability extends beyond climate targets; the company donated EUR 4 million through its foundation to education, clean water, and disaster relief. With a net-zero emissions target by 2040 and ongoing investment in innovation, GEA positions itself for continued growth in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
