KJT Law Group has announced that four of its attorneys have been named to the 2027 Southern California Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists. This recognition underscores the firm's commitment to excellence in personal injury and employment law, as determined by an independent peer-review process.
Founding partner Caspar Jivalagian, who focuses on workers' compensation, catastrophic injury, and premises liability, and Aaron Turchin, an attorney with over two decades of trial experience in personal injury and workers' comp, were both named to the Super Lawyers list in the personal injury plaintiff practice area. This is Jivalagian's first selection, while Turchin has been honored three times.
Additionally, Tro Semerjian, who handles habitability and personal injury matters, and Levon S. Yepremian, who represents employees in discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes, were named to the Rising Stars list. Semerjian was selected for the first time, and Yepremian has now received this honor five times.
The Super Lawyers selection process involves peer nominations, independent research across 12 indicators of professional achievement, and peer review by practice area. Candidates are evaluated based on point totals, and the final list represents the top 5% of attorneys in the state. Rising Stars candidates undergo a similar process but are limited to attorneys 40 years old or younger or those with 10 or fewer years of practice, with the list representing the top 2.5% of attorneys.
Selection cannot be purchased, and attorneys are not required to buy any products. Before publication, Super Lawyers verifies each candidate's standing with their local licensing authority. This recognition provides independent validation of the attorneys' reputations among their peers, which can be a significant factor for prospective clients when choosing legal representation.
