Focus Universal Launches Cost-Effective Commercial IoT Solutions for Four Sectors, Showcases at CES 2026

Focus Universal Inc. (NASDAQ: FCUV) announced the availability of four commercial Internet of Things (IoT) solutions targeting aquaculture, tequila and wine production, reverse osmosis in steel manufacturing, and hydroponic agriculture. The company stated that these solutions were developed within one month using its Universal Smart IoT Platform, which it claims can save millions of dollars in development costs and years of engineering time compared to traditional approaches.

The company will showcase these technologies at CES 2026, taking place from January 6-9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Booth 10371 in the North Hall Showcase. Attendees can expect demonstrations of a full-fledged IoT system integrating hundreds or thousands of sensors across multiple locations, along with AI-driven SEC financial reporting automation software.

Focus Universal noted that IoT projects often fail due to high costs and complexity. According to Cisco, approximately 75% of IoT projects fail, and Microsoft reports that 30% fail at the early proof-of-concept stage. The company’s platform aims to address these challenges by providing a pre-built common foundation, allowing different IoT devices to share roughly 90% of the same hardware and software. This approach reduces development costs and accelerates time-to-market.

The four commercial IoT solutions were developed in response to customer requests. The Commercial Aquaculture IoT improves fish farm production efficiency and reduces operational costs. The Commercial Tequila and Wine Production IoT provides real-time monitoring of fermentation, lowering labor and production costs. The Commercial Reverse Osmosis IoT enables centralized monitoring of thousands of units in steel manufacturing, eliminating manual data recording. The Commercial Hydroponic IoT automates monitoring and control to enhance agricultural productivity.

Beyond these solutions, Focus Universal highlighted its Ubiquitor, a universal multi-sensor smart device that can connect to virtually any type of sensor, potentially reducing system costs to near the cost of the sensors themselves. When combined with the Universal Smart IoT Platform, total product development costs are reduced to a fraction of conventional approaches.

The company also emphasized its AI-driven SEC financial reporting software, which automates the entire filing process—from retrieving financial statements to generating SEC-compliant HTML files—within minutes. This software is designed to reduce manual labor and errors in financial reporting.

Focus Universal’s IoT platform addresses the broader industry challenge of high development costs. The company has invested over $20 million and more than 20 years of R&D into its technology. By offering a universal platform, it aims to make IoT accessible to the 19.8 billion devices projected by Statista in 2025, with the global IoT market expected to grow from $1.18 trillion in 2023 to $2.65 trillion by 2030.
