The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project (CSFP) has announced its most expansive season to date, running from June through September 2026, with a new flagship event in Niagara Falls marking a significant milestone for the organization. The 2026 slate includes five major festivals, expanded corporate partnerships, and a year-round program of dance lessons, art exhibitions, and cultural events across Ontario and Quebec.
The centerpiece of the new season is Salsa at Niagara Falls, scheduled for September 12 and 13, 2026. This inaugural event is organized in partnership with Niagara Falls Tourism, Niagara Parks Commission, and Fallsview Casino Resort. Adam Stiles, Interim President and CEO of Niagara Falls Tourism, expressed enthusiasm: "Salsa at Niagara Falls is exactly the kind of vibrant, world-class event our destination is made for... We’re delighted to welcome this celebration of Latin music, dance, and food for the first time."
CSFP also announced expanded support from longstanding sponsor TD Bank Group, which will now serve as title sponsor for TD Salsa Tremblant in Quebec, in addition to renewing its title sponsorship of TD Salsa on St. Clair in Toronto and TD Salsa at Blue Mountain in Collingwood. Robyn Small, Senior Manager of Philanthropy at TD Bank Group, noted: "Festivals like TD Salsa on St. Clair bring people together to celebrate what shapes us — our stories, food, music, and art."
The returning festivals include TD Salsa at Blue Mountain (June 26–28), which kicks off the summer season at Blue Mountain Village. Patti Kendall, President of the Blue Mountain Village Association, highlighted the event's economic impact: "Salsa at Blue is a highly anticipated event that brings vibrant Latin energy to the Village, kicking off our summer festival season."
TD Salsa on St. Clair (July 11–12) will transform Toronto's Hillcrest Village into Canada's largest free Latin street festival, featuring over 350 live performers, weekend headliners including JUNO nominee Andy Rubal and award-winning artist Yani Borrell, the Fiesta Parade presented by Lenpanada, and more than 35 authentic Latin food vendors representing 15+ countries.
TD Salsa Tremblant (August 21–23) returns for its third year in Quebec's Laurentian region. Nicolas Dien, Event Director of Tremblant Resort Association, stated: "We are very proud to be hosting Salsa Tremblant for a third consecutive year. This event perfectly embodies Tremblant’s DNA — a vibrant, welcoming destination where music, dance, and nature come together."
CSFP has also announced a full calendar of free community programs, including the Vibrante Latin Art Exhibition at Toronto's Little EGG Gallery (June 6 – July 12) featuring emerging Latino artists under 18; free salsa, bachata, and Latin dance classes across Southern Ontario from May to August; Salsa on Market Street (August 9) in Toronto's Old Town; and family salsa dance lessons at Toronto museums from August to October.
The festival series is founded by TLN Media Group, whose President and Managing Partner Aldo Di Felice remarked: "Salsa in Toronto has become one of Canada’s premier cultural celebrations, bringing together hundreds of thousands of people each year while showcasing the power of music, culture, and community to create meaningful social and economic impact across Ontario and beyond."
CSFP, a federally incorporated not-for-profit, produces the Salsa in Toronto Festival, Canada's largest celebration of Latin arts, music, and culture. The 2026 season is expected to draw record attendance and economic benefits, reinforcing Latin culture's growing influence in Canada's festival landscape.
