BZBGEAR to Demonstrate End-to-End Camera-to-Fiber Broadcast Chain at IBC2026

At IBC2026, BZBGEAR will present a complete camera-to-fiber broadcast chain, integrating four key stages: acquisition, production, encoding, and transport. The demonstration, set for Hall 11, Stand 11.A26 at the RAI Amsterdam from September 11–14, 2026, aims to show how a unified system can simplify workflows and reduce integration challenges for broadcasters. Rather than displaying isolated components, BZBGEAR will run the entire chain continuously, allowing attendees to see how each element interacts in real time.

The acquisition stage features BZBGEAR's award-winning ADAMO PTZ cameras in two IP versions: the BG-ADAMO-4KND with NDI|HX 3 and the BG-ADAMO-4KDA with Dante AV-H. Both models output up to 4K@60Hz via HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI, and include USB and IP outputs. They offer 12X or 25X optical zoom, AI-powered auto-tracking in Presenter and Zone modes, integrated tally lights, and an onboard microSD writer that can record up to 1TB of 4K video. Data, power, and control are delivered over a single category cable. Complementing these are the BG-ADAMO-JRND and BG-ADAMO-JRDA, which provide the same control workflow and single-cable installation at 1080p@60Hz with 12X, 20X, and 30X optical zoom options. This pairing allows for a 4K hero angle and HD coverage for the rest of the venue, all controlled from one interface.

Production is handled by the BG-Commander-UltraX, an all-in-one 4K production switcher and PTZ joystick controller with onboard recording. It features four HDMI inputs that accept sources up to 4K@30Hz, separate program and monitor outputs, a 7-inch touchscreen, a 4D control joystick, a step-less knob, and a sliding T-bar. Built-in tools include chroma key, picture-in-picture, logo overlay, and a full transition set. A USB-C webcam output can feed the program directly into streaming or conferencing platforms, and recording is possible to a USB drive or SD card without a PC. Camera control is via ONVIF 2.8 and VISCA over IP.

For encoding, the BG-STREAM-DE serves as a one-channel SDI/HDMI encoder, decoder, and recorder. It encodes H.265 or H.264 at up to 1080p@60Hz and outputs up to 3840x2160p@60Hz. Both SDI and HDMI loop-through are provided, ensuring the local feed remains available during contribution. Transport options include SRT, RTMP, HLS, RTSP over HTTP/TCP/UDP, and TS over UDP in unicast or multicast, with NDI and Dante AV-H available under separate license. Audio embed and de-embed are supported via 3.5 mm connectors, and USB 3.0 recording to MP4, TS, or MOV provides a safety copy.

Finally, the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-F addresses signal transport over long distances. This point-to-point transmitter and receiver pair carries 8K@60Hz 4:4:4 with DSC 1.2a, uncompressed 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, and visually lossless 4K@144Hz 4:4:4 across single-mode fiber up to 10 kilometers (6.25 miles) at zero-frame latency. It supports 48Gbps of video bandwidth (FRL 6) and HDCP 2.3. Full-duplex RS-232, bi-directional wideband IR, CEC pass-through, 1G Ethernet pass-through, and USB 3.1 Gen1/Gen2 KVM all run over the same fiber, eliminating ground loops and EMI that can occur with copper connections between buildings.

Eugene Bocharov, CEO of BZBGEAR, explained the rationale: "Every broadcaster we talk to is solving the same problem from four different directions at once — how to acquire it, how to cut it, how to get it on the network, and how to move it across a campus or a city. Showing one box at a time doesn't answer that. So this year we're bringing the whole chain to Hall 11 and running it end to end, and our engineers will be standing next to it for four days.
