Boerne Revs Up 2026 with Full Calendar of Classic Car Shows and Automotive Events

The City of Boerne is gearing up for a vibrant 2026 season of classic car shows and automotive events that celebrate the region's deep-rooted car culture. From vintage tractor displays to European motor gatherings, the calendar offers something for every enthusiast while supporting local charities and businesses.

Kicking off the year on March 7, the Power of the Past event at The AgriCultural Museum & Arts Center marks its 40th anniversary with a showcase of vintage cars, engines, and tractors. The event features live music, reenactors, food vendors, and awards for the Top 30 Vehicles, Best in Show Car, and Best in Show Truck.

On March 28, the Italian Motor Gathering returns to Main Plaza for its seventh annual exhibition, open to all Italian marques and free for spectators. April 18 brings the Texas Corvette Association Open Car Show, now in its 33rd year, featuring nearly 500 Corvettes and classic vehicles on Main Street, along with live music, food trucks, and a silent auction benefiting SJRC Texas.

The Black Rifle Block Parties, hosted by Black Rifle Coffee Company on April 18, July 4, and September 26, combine live music, food, and car shows in a community-friendly atmosphere. October 1 marks the Hill Country Mile Rod Run, hosted by Cibolo Creek Motor Club from October 2-4, open to all American cars, trucks, and motorcycles from 1985 and older.

Later in October, the South Texas All British Car Day on October 24 showcases British-made automobiles at Main Plaza, followed by the German Motor Gathering on October 31, the premier exhibition of German motoring in the Texas Hill Country, open to all German marques on two or four wheels and free for spectators.

Boerne's automotive events are deeply community-driven, blending a passion for classic and European cars with local tradition. Proceeds from several shows support nonprofit organizations like SJRC Texas, and the events boost local family-owned businesses along the Hill Country Mile. Tori Bellos, Marketing Specialist at Visit Boerne, noted, "Our events are more than just car shows, they’re celebrations of community, history and Texas pride."

Vehicle registration, schedules, and parking maps are available online at Boerne Calendar of Events in 2026. Many events are free for spectators and include live music, food vendors, and family-friendly activities. Boerne, located just 30 miles northwest of San Antonio in the Texas Hill Country, offers a charming historic downtown known as the Hill Country Mile, with limestone buildings, unique shops, and local restaurants.
