Baolai Steel Expands Global Supply of UL Listed and FM Approved Fire Sprinkler Pipe

As building safety codes become more stringent worldwide, the demand for fire sprinkler pipes that meet both UL Listing and FM Approval has increased. These certifications are critical for code compliance and insurance assessments in major commercial and industrial projects. Baolai Steel, a manufacturer established in 1991 and ranked among China's Top 500 Manufacturers, is expanding its global supply of fire sprinkler pipes that carry both UL and FM certifications.

Baolai's fire sprinkler pipes are manufactured in accordance with leading international standards, including ASTM A53, ASTM A795, ASTM A135, and UL 852 requirements. The product line includes Schedule 10 and Schedule 40 wall thicknesses, catering to a wide range of applications. According to the company, the dual certification, combined with compliance with these ASTM standards, provides specifying engineers and contractors with recognized documentation for code review, project approval, and insurance assessment.

The pipes are available in four primary finishes: black, hot-dip galvanized, epoxy-coated, and primer-painted. Black pipes are suitable for standard fire protection, while hot-dip galvanized pipes, with a zinc coating of 30 to 100 microns, are designed for wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems. Epoxy-coated pipes, with a powder epoxy coating of 100 to 300 microns in red RAL 3000, are intended for high-corrosion environments. Primer-painted pipes, with a varnish thickness of 20 to 200 microns, come in black, red, blue, and customized colors.

Baolai offers flexible pipe-end options, including roll-grooved, cut-grooved, threaded, coupled, and beveled ends. Standard lengths are 5.8 meters, 6 meters, and 12 meters, with custom lengths available upon request. The company also provides deep-processing services such as grooving, threading, and customized packaging to meet specific project requirements.

Beyond standardized products, Baolai offers extensive customization capabilities for fire sprinkler pipes, including custom diameters, wall thicknesses, lengths, end finishes, surface coatings, and packaging. This flexibility allows the company to adapt its products to unique project designs, regional code variations, and contractor preferences across different markets.

With 13 advanced production lines and an annual capacity exceeding 5 million tons, Baolai serves customers in more than 150 countries. The company's integrated manufacturing chain, from raw material to finished product, is supported by in-house laboratory testing and third-party inspection on every batch. Certifications include UL, FM, API, ASTM, JIS, EN, BS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

Demand for certified fire sprinkler pipes varies by region, from the Middle East to Southeast Asia and South America, but the common requirement across premium fire protection projects is certified piping. Baolai's vertically integrated production model and direct-from-factory supply chain ensure consistent quality and traceable batch control, which are essential when project fire safety compliance is at stake.
