Andina Copper Corporation (TSX-V: ANDC | FSE: FIR | OTCQB: PMMCF) reported another outstanding drill intercept from hole CDH006 at the Cobrasco Project in Chocó, Colombia, highlighting the continuity and expansion of the porphyry copper-molybdenum system. The hole, collared approximately 400 meters northwest of previous drill pads, returned 486 meters at 0.42% Cu, 51 ppm Mo, and 1.20 g/t Ag, including 232 meters at 0.68% Cu, 75 ppm Mo, and 2.0 g/t Ag from 38 meters depth.
This step-out hole is the first from a new drill pad designed to test the northwest extension of mineralization. Near-surface mineralization began at 38 meters within weathered saprolite and continued through rhyodacitic porphyries to a faulted contact at 808 meters. Two additional holes, CDH007 and CDH008, have been completed from the same platform, testing northeastern and northern extensions, with assays pending.
The results confirm that the Cobrasco Central mineralization footprint now covers at least 950 by 525 meters in lateral extent within the upper 600 meters, remaining open in all directions. Every drillhole completed to date has intersected significant porphyry Cu-Mo mineralization from surface or near-surface to depths of approximately 600 meters.

This footprint now covers an area of at least 950 x 525m within the emerging Cobrasco Central mineralization.”
Geological observations from CDH006 indicate strong structural controls on mineralization, with a low-angle fault structure at the top of the high-grade zone introducing elevated copper and molybdenum grades. The interval from 38 to 270 meters contains the standout intercept, characterized by magmatic brecciation and increased A-veins. Deeper sections show polymictic intrusive breccia with reduced mineralization, though sporadic intervals continue to the end of the hole at 898.90 meters.
The company plans to continue broadly spaced scout drilling to define the limits of mineralization and test newly developed targets. A new program of surface mapping and geochemical sampling is being prepared, and preparations are underway to mobilize a second drill rig for infill drilling across widely spaced scout holes.
