This marks the first year both physicians have received this prestigious designation, which is awarded to only 7 percent of the nation's licensed physicians based on peer nominations and rigorous selection criteria.

He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the NYU School of Medicine and has authored numerous multi-center clinical trials on lumbar arthrodesis. Dr. Roberts earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Albany Medical College, and a spine surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU Langone Health and is an expert peer reviewer for prominent publications including Spine and The Spine Journal. Both physicians are board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
