Alcanza Clinical Research today announced the acquisition of CNS Healthcare, an independent clinical research network with a 30-year history of advancing medical science and patient care. The acquisition adds five locations across Memphis, TN, Jacksonville and Orlando, FL, along with a mobile clinical trial vehicle, to Alcanza's growing network of research sites, enhancing its capabilities in neuroscience and behavioral health.
CNS Healthcare, founded in 1996, has completed thousands of clinical trials and is recognized for high-quality data and a patient-centric environment. Under CEO Dan Kearney, the organization has expanded its partnerships and maintained consistent site performance. 'We are truly excited to join the Alcanza team. Their commitment to inclusiveness ties into how we have operated for over 30 years,' said Kearney. 'I look forward to seeing the value our combined capabilities will deliver.'
Alcanza CEO Carlos Orantes emphasized the strategic importance of the acquisition: 'Working alongside high-performing clinical research organizations continues to be a key focus for Alcanza. We are pleased to welcome CNS Healthcare and its outstanding team to our growing site network.' The integration supports Alcanza's 'Clinical Research for All™' mission by broadening site access to diverse communities and strengthening its multispecialty therapeutic capabilities.
The acquisition positions Alcanza as a fully integrated network now comprising over 30 dedicated research units and additional specialty clinic sites across the continental US and Puerto Rico. CNS Healthcare's experienced team of Principal Investigators and research professionals will contribute to Alcanza's focus on inclusive patient engagement and quality study execution across all trial phases and major therapeutic areas.
