AdvantaPure Launches EcoFlex, a Sustainable TPE Tubing for Biopharma

AdvantaPure, a division of NewAge Industries, Inc., announced the launch of EcoFlex, a sustainable thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) tubing designed for biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical applications. The product will be formally introduced on February 25, 2026, in Raleigh, NC, during the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering's Carolina–South Atlantic Chapter event in partnership with Carolina Components Group.

EcoFlex incorporates a bio-based oil instead of traditional fossil-based oil in the polymer manufacturing process, resulting in an approximate 25% reduction in product carbon footprint compared to conventionally manufactured TPE. The tubing is sealable and weldable, and is available in a broad range of configurations, including single-use systems and custom designs. A comprehensive validation package is provided to meet the stringent requirements of regulated environments.

Mary Marcus, CEO of AdvantaPure, stated: 'We take great pride in unveiling EcoFlex, the very first inherently sustainable product in our new AdvantaBio portfolio of environmentally conscious single-use components and assemblies. Working alongside Carolina Components Group to bring this groundbreaking technology to the global marketplace reflects our unwavering commitment to making a meaningful and positive impact on our industry and the world.'

John Cooling, CEO of Carolina Components Group, added: 'Sustainability is a top priority at Carolina Components Group, and we are investing significantly to expand a global portfolio of sustainable bioprocessing solutions. EcoFlex is the first product within our ecobio platform, and partnering with AdvantaPure on this launch is a natural extension of our shared commitment to innovation, sustainability, and single-use materials expertise.'
