Accelleron Names Ravin Pillay-Ramsamy as Service Division President

Accelleron, a global technology leader in turbocharging and fuel injection systems, announced the appointment of Ravin Pillay-Ramsamy as President of its Service Division and member of the Executive Committee, effective October 1, 2026. He will be based in Baden, Switzerland, and succeeds Roland Schwarz, who has been named CEO of OMT, an Accelleron company specializing in fuel injection. Klaus Heim, current CEO of OMT, will retire at the end of September 2026.

This leadership change comes at a critical time for Accelleron as it strengthens its service operations to support the marine and energy industries' transition toward sustainability. The appointment of Pillay-Ramsamy, who brings extensive experience in industrial services and engineering, underscores the company's commitment to delivering value to customers globally.

"We are very pleased to welcome Ravin to Accelleron," said Daniel Bischofberger, CEO of Accelleron. "He brings extensive international leadership experience in industrial services, engineering, business development and M&A, combined with deep expertise in power generation, oil and gas, and industrial infrastructure. His proven track record in leading global service organizations will be highly valuable as we continue to strengthen our service business and create value for our customers worldwide."

Pillay-Ramsamy joins from Sulzer, where he currently serves as Division President Services and a member of the Executive Committee. His career includes senior leadership roles within Sulzer's Services division across EMEA and Asia Pacific, and earlier positions at Turbine Services Ltd. in the United States, where he was Business Development Director and Vice President Engineering. He holds a Global MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School, a Master's degree in Management and Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University.

The appointment is part of a broader strategic realignment within Accelleron's management. Roland Schwarz, who has led the Service Division, will now head OMT, a move that leverages his expertise in fuel injection. Klaus Heim's retirement marks the end of a tenure at OMT, and Schwarz's transition ensures continuity in this specialized area.

Accelleron Industries Ltd (ACLN: SIX Swiss Exchange) is accelerating sustainability in the marine and energy industries as a global technology leader in turbocharging, fuel injection, and digital solutions for heavy-duty applications. Building on a heritage of over 100 years as a trusted industry partner, the company serves customers in more than 100 locations in over 50 countries. Accelleron's more than 3,200 employees are continuously innovating to deliver best-in-class products, services, and solutions that are mission-critical for the energy transition.

The leadership change is expected to have significant implications for Accelleron's service business, which is a key revenue driver and essential for maintaining customer relationships. With a leader who has a proven record in growing service organizations, the company aims to enhance its aftermarket services, digital offerings, and customer support, thereby strengthening its competitive position.

This appointment also reflects the industry's broader trend of focusing on service-led growth, especially as the energy transition drives demand for retrofits, upgrades, and maintenance of existing equipment. By placing an experienced leader at the helm of its service division, Accelleron is positioning itself to capitalize on these opportunities and support its customers in navigating the evolving energy landscape.
